These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FrameDial website, products, emails, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Skylark Creations LLC, 10717 Owens St, Westminster, CO 80021 (“Skylark Creations,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use FrameDial
You may use the Service only if:
- you are at least 16 years old; and
- you can form a binding agreement with us; and
- your use of the Service complies with these Terms and applicable law.
The Service is not directed to children under 16.
2. What FrameDial is
FrameDial is an AI-assisted news briefing service. We publish news summaries, source-linked fact sections, framing analysis, interactive dials, email digests, and related editorial features.
FrameDial may include multiple forms of commentary, including:
- facts or consensus summaries;
- value-frame analysis;
- political framing analysis; and
- satirical or parody content intended for commentary or entertainment.
FrameDial is designed to help users explore how stories may be framed. It is not a promise of neutrality, completeness, or error-free reporting.
3. AI-generated and editorial content disclaimer
The Service includes content generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. By using the Service, you understand and agree that:
- AI-generated or AI-assisted content may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or offensive;
- citations and links are provided to help you review original reporting, but citations do not guarantee accuracy;
- framing analysis reflects constructed perspectives or editorial analysis and does not necessarily represent our own views;
- parody, satire, or “tribal” commentary is not factual reporting and should not be treated as such; and
- you are responsible for evaluating information and consulting original sources before relying on it.
FrameDial is provided for informational, editorial, and entertainment purposes only. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, mental health, or other professional advice.
4. Accounts
Some features may require an account.
When you create an account, you agree to:
- provide accurate and current information;
- keep your login credentials secure;
- promptly update your information if it changes; and
- accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account.
You may not share your account in a way that violates these Terms or compromises the Service.
We currently use a third-party authentication provider. We do not directly store or process your password.
5. Email subscriptions and communications
When you create an account or subscribe, you agree that we may send you:
- service and account emails;
- verification and security emails;
- welcome emails;
- daily and weekly digest emails; and
- other operational messages related to the Service.
Where required by law, we will rely on your consent for certain email communications. In other cases, we may send messages based on our legitimate interests in operating the Service or performing our agreement with you.
You can unsubscribe from digest emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at hello@frame-dial.news. Unsubscribing from digest emails does not automatically delete your account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to help others to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, mirror, or bulk-download the Service or its content by automated means without our prior written permission;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks;
- bypass, disable, or undermine security features or access controls;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- use the Service to build or train a competing dataset, model, or automated news product from our content, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- republish, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or our content without permission;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; or
- use the Service in a way that could harm users, third parties, or the reputation of FrameDial.
You may share links to public FrameDial pages in ordinary personal or editorial use, so long as you do not misrepresent the source.
7. Intellectual property
7.1 Our content
As between you and us, the Service, including our software, design, branding, selection and arrangement of content, AI-generated summaries, framing analysis, compilations, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to Skylark Creations and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.
7.2 Third-party content
The Service may include third-party article titles, publication names, logos, thumbnails, links, excerpts, and other source information. Those materials remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of third-party content to you or to us.

8. Third-party services and links
FrameDial depends on third-party providers and may link to third-party websites or content. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, services, content, policies, or practices.
Your use of third-party sites and services is governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Availability, changes, and experiments
We may add, remove, suspend, or change features at any time, with or without notice. This includes:
- story selection methods;
- email frequency or format;
- framing models, dials, or commentary modes;
- account features;
- analytics, moderation, or review workflows; and
- experimental or beta features.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Future paid features
The Service is currently offered as a free product, but we may introduce paid plans, premium features, subscriptions, or other commercial terms in the future.
If we activate paid features:
- additional terms, pricing, billing rules, and cancellation terms may apply;
- payments may be processed by a third-party payment processor such as Stripe; and
- we may change or discontinue free or paid features as permitted by law.
11. Termination and suspension
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, or disable accounts at any time if we reasonably believe:
- you violated these Terms;
- your use creates risk for users, us, or third parties;
- we are required to do so by law; or
- continued operation of a feature or account is no longer commercially or technically feasible.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute resolution.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, OR RELIABILITY.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT; THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS OR EXPECTATIONS; THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE; OR DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKYLARK CREATIONS LLC AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: USD $50, OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Skylark Creations LLC and its owners, members, managers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
- your use or misuse of the Service;
- your violation of these Terms; or
- your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
15. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on the Service and update the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
17. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
